Second in the series of LEGO Hobbit sets is the LEGO The Hobbit Escape from Mirkwood Spiders set.
This set re-creates the scene from the Book/Film where some of the Dwarfs have been captured by Mirkwood spiders and the Elves come to their rescue.
This is a really well designed set that features some of LEGO’s brand new luminous parts that glow in the dark giving an extra element to this great set.

In this LEGO The Hobbit Escape from Mirkwood Spiders set you will get four LEGO Minifigures, Filli & Kili who are captured and Legolas Greenleaf and Tauriel who are coming to the rescue. All feature a host of weapons.
There are a good amount of spiders too, you get three little ones, two black ones and one glow in the dark one and two huge ones that require construction, these also have glow in the dark eyes, which really look fantastic.
Next you get two parts to build to represent the tree’s that the two dwarves are hung from in the spiders webs.
You get two web sacks so you can hang up your minifigures. The Tree’s have some fantastic red parts so make the tree’s more spooky and there are glow in the dark mushrooms too.
The LEGO The Hobbit Escape from Mirkwood Spiders is a great set with loads of different elements and I think its a really good value for money set with lots to keep your children happy and interested.
