Hello and welcome to ūüôā

ToyChief – Helping You Find Great Toys For Your Children!

Simon HoughtonHello my name is Simon and I’ve been running this blog OrderToys ToyChief since 2009 and this is my chief toy tester Charlie (Rosie needs to be added!).

I must update this picture, because a new girl is on the block, Rosie has just turned one and is loving her toys, she like her brothers toys the best most of the time!

He is the main reason I set this blog up so I can be more involved in his life rather and spend more time with my Wife than being out at a job all the time.

My Aim for OrderToys ToyChief is to create a useful resource for Parents who are wanting to buy a Toy for their children but are not sure which is the best option and don’t have the time to research which is the best for their children.

As well I would hope that this site will be useful for you if you are wanting to buy a present for a young person in your family.

Where I can I’ll try to write reviews of real life experience of the toys, but sometimes I will have to rely on researching the Internet to work out if a toy is any good because although I wish I could have a play with everything, unfortunately my house isn’t big enough and I’m not allowed!

Stickle Brick Star Wars At At'sI’ve always been a big kid and I’ve always loved Toys!

I’m now a Dad and my Son being around has sparked my interest in Toys again, he will be starting School in September so his toy tastes have changed quite a lot over the years.

He used to be into In The Night Garden, Chuggington and Rory The Racing Car, but now he is into cool toys like LEGO, Power Rangers and Transformers!

I have to say my¬†absolute¬†favorite toy has to be LEGO, give me a box of LEGO and I’ll be happy for hours and hours.

It makes me smile from ear to ear to see my Son taking an interest in LEGO and he is starting to make some really cool things like the “Turbo Tank” he made the other day, which was wicked.

So I hope you find this site useful, I always try to provide links to the best price I can find for each toy I review and as and where I can I’ll add additional links that may be of interest to you.
