If you're struggling for gift ideas for the growing boy in your life (or extended family or even friends) then you cannot go wrong with the Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Brute Prowler. All small boys love to play at pretend battles and with this Mega Bloks set they can get their troops mobilised for some serious imaginative action.
Like the Lego brand, Mega Bloks is one of the staple brand names to be seen in the toy marketplace and has staggeringly been around for over 25 years. Many people see Mega Bloks as "Lego for young children" and this is a fair comparison as it looks very similar, albeit chunkier and bigger than its counterpart.
The thing with the Mega Bloks Halo range though, of which the Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Brute Prowler is part, is that it is actually aimed at children aged 8 and over, and thus the blocks are smaller than stature than the ordinary blocks aimed at very young children.
There are many Mega Bloks Halo sets around and the Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Brute Prowler is a great addition to an existing collection, or even as a base with which your Major general can start his army. The set contains a whopping 173 pieces, from which can be made the terrifying Covenant vehicle.
Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Brute Prowler Price Comparison
This vehicle is designed so that it can carry 2 men, one positioned at the back who is responsible for steering the beast, and one and the front whose task it is to fire on the fleeing enemy infantry.
The gun-mounted turret (and note that the gun is not just any old gun, it’s a plasma gun!) at the front is fully rotational, turning 360° to ensure that the Brute soldiers can take down those enemy soldiers who are trying to be sneaky and run away to hide! The vehicle is fitted with handy anti-gravity facilities, a bladed ramming chassis and nifty "jump seat" side runners.
Not only does the fantastic Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Brute Prowler come complete with this "brute" of a machine, it also has 2 Brute soldiers to man it on the next exciting mission. Of course, if you are going into battle then you need an enemy to defeat and so the set comes with an orange Spartan-II soldier, complete with his own new-style battle rifle.
After the Covenant has been built up (which does not take long to do, especially if you have some help from those boys in their second childhood), it's time to get to work and rid the planet of the enemy once and for all – or at least have a good bash at it!
