LEGO City Mobile Police Unit 7288 Price Comparison
The set includes a cab and detachable mobile police unit, complete with control centre to help catch the criminal before he escapes. The control centre can be accessed via a side panel which opens up. The inside of the unit is very detailed, complete with accessories such as computers, Wanted posters and even a coffee machine (doughnuts not included).
There is even a fully operational magnifying glass (handy for looking at the finer details of the Wanted posters), a set of handcuffs, a flashlight and the gold bar that the robber has nicked. At the rear of the unit is a small holding cell complete with barred windows and a cell door with a lock which will hopefully keep the robber away from a life of crime.
As well as some great accessories the LEGO City 7288 Mobile Police Unit set comes with 3 minifigures; the robber complete with shady stubble and black woolly hat, and two competent police officers, looking the part with their blue shirts and gold badges.
The robber also has a nifty getaway vehicle included in the form of a rather dashing red sports car (complete with the perfect place to hold that stolen gold bar) and the police can make use of a speedy police motorbike to try and catch him.
The LEGO City 7288 Mobile Police Unit set is a great option for those who want to start a fun, educational Lego collection but is equally a great addition to any existing one.
The set is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12, and contains a whopping 408 pieces, so younger children may need help in constructing it before play begins.
